Sturdy Denim - (2025)

Das Thema: „HIS Jeans“.

"Keep the streets emty for me" - 2024 (ongoing)

This is my latest project for university. The course has the title "Violet Hour" and is about the twilight condition between day and night. I chose to depict this time with a mysterious and ambivalent series. Apocalyptic, yet familiar. You can observe people like they're the last person on earth. The mood is set by combining these shots with landscape footage of an  abandoned world.
"Yes she can! Can she?" - 2023

This was a semester project in my 4th semester:
"Do women actively take control of their careers, or are they passively subordinate to them?" I asked myself this question and explored the answer by using simple means and with colorful accentuation.
Glass Ceiling - An invisible barrier within an organization that prevents certain groups, particularly women and minorities, from advancing to higher-level positions, despite their qualifications and achievements. This barrier is often a result of systemic biases, discrimination, and organizational practices that favor the advancement of the majority group. The glass ceiling is metaphorical and highlights the difficulties faced by these groups in breaking through to top leadership roles, despite having the necessary skills and experience.

Glass Cage - Subtle, invisible barriers that keep people in lower or middle-level positions, preventing horizontal or vertical mobility.

Sticky Floor - Refers to the barriers that keep low-wage workers, often women and minorities, stuck in low-paying jobs with little chance of upward mobility.

"The Party Nobody Saw" (2023 - paused)

In a world where parties symbolize joy and connection, this series unveils the fragile undercurrent of loneliness that often lurks beneath the surface. Each image captures moments of isolation amidst celebration, reflecting on the paradox of shared solitude. Through muted tones and sparse settings, the series challenges the viewer to reconsider the collective rituals of happiness and the quiet emptiness they sometimes conceal.
